542 Inservice or Staff Development Programs for all Employees  

The School Board encourages staff members to become familiar with and implement  innovative methods and technology by participating in professional meetings or workshops. The Board shall provide travel expenses for such purposes upon approval of the Superintendent of Schools.
 
It shall be the responsibility of the supervisory staff to engage employees in the presentation of local inservice programs in the areas of their strengths.  These programs can contribute to the general strength of the District’s programs.
