 Welcome to my new website! My name is Jill Kelly and I am an assistant principal on special assignment focusing on Testing, Data, and AYP. I look forward to working with parents, students, and teachers during the 2011-12 school year. Prior to this position, I served as assistant principal at CCCS for two years. Before that, I served as an instructional coordinator for the Shakopee School District.
My teaching career includes teaching first and fourth grade in the Shakopee School District for six years, and two years of teaching experience in the Bloomington Public Schools.
I earned my license in educational administration and my master's degree from St. Mary's University, and my bachelor's degree in elementary education from the College of St. Benedict.
As an assistant principal, I enjoy working with a very dedicated staff who work together with our parents, students, and community to provide the very best educational opportunities we can to make learning real, meaningful, fun, and effective. I believe strongly in the notion of continuous improvement - that we should always be working to be just a little bit better, a little bit more effective, each and every day.
