Welcome

My name is Cheryl Adamson.  I am a Special Education Assistant at St. Francis Middle School.  This is my first year at the middle school but have previously worked for six years at Cedar Creek Community School as an Educational Assistant. 

I have worked in Special Education in grades K-8th grade, dealing with many different disabilities including:  Autism, Learning Delays, Down's Syndrome, Emotional & Behavioral Disabilities.  I am a highly qualified EA and have completed six years of competency classes.  In addition to teaching at the middle school I am also a certified trainer in the Managing Student Behavior for Support Staff in our EA competency program. 

I look forward this school year, as I love what I am doing.  We are a team: Teachers, Parents and Educational Assistants, all working together to educate these very special children!
