MyPlate.gov Program

Independent School District 15 Nutrition Services is promoting healthier eating by endorsing the new USDA "My Plate" visual reminder in the cafeterias.  At lunchtime, students are offered all five colors or food groups each day.  Besides the main entree and daily milk, students will be encouraged to fill half their plates with fruits and vegetables.

For complete information on this program, visit the USDA MyPlate website!
