Regalia making class
The St. Francis Area Schools American Indian Education Program is offering regalia making classes to all our Native students and their families.
Participants will learn about the history and meaning of different regalia outfits, design and make your own regalia!
Sewing machines and scissors will be provided. We have a small selection of ribbon, yarn, beads, and fabric for anyone to use. Participants will need to supply some of their own materials.
Dates: Tuesdays, March 19, 26, April 2, 16
Time: 2:30-7:30 p.m.
This is a drop-in class; participants are able to join at any time.
St. Francis Middle School and Saints Academy students can ride a bus to the high school after school and participate in the class. Parents are responsible to arrange transportation home for their student.
Place: St. Francis High School, Room C-204
