Welcome to Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)
at the Lifelong Learning Center!
My name is Tim Finn and I am the Program Supervisor for Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) with the St. Francis School District. My responsibilities include coordinating special education services for:
- The Early Intervention Program (for families and children, birth to age three)
- Students in the Preschool Program (or preschool age - three to five years old)
- Children and families that have concerns as a result of Early Childhood Screening
I have been a part of the St. Francis School District since 2000, and I have been the part of the Early Childhood team since 2004. My other experience within the district includes two years at St. Francis High School and two years working at Transition 15. My entire working career has been dedicated to assisting people and families with disabilities. My educational background includes a Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of St. Thomas. I received my Education Administration licenses (K-12 Principal and Director of Special Education) from St. Cloud State University.
I am honored to work with a very talented group of Early Childhood Staff at the Lifelong Learning Center. It is an amazing group of professionals all working toward the goal of assisting all children and families to grow and be successful. Our programs and services are responsive to the unique needs of each individual learner. Our curriculum and early intervention strategies are based on research-based practices focussed on the individual growth, development and readiness of young children.
Teamwork with the family is an important aspect of the Early Childhood Special Education process. I encourage your sharing questions, ideas and challenges that will help me to better meet your needs. Please contact me at 763-753-7172 or email me at: email@example.com.
