Here are some recommended websites to help parents as they face the challenges of parenting.

Anoka County Resource Guide The Anoka County Community Resource Guide was developed to help promote self-sufficiency for residents of Anoka County, MN. Self-sufficiency is being able to provide for yourself and your family without undue hardship.

Center for Disease Control has well researched resources about child development. The main CSC website is also a great resource for health related topics.

Help Me Grow Help Me Grow Minnesota provides resources for families to understand developmental milestones and learn if there are concerns. This helps families take the lead in seeking additional support or referring their child for a comprehensive, confidential screening or evaluation at no cost. It is an interagency initiative of the State of Minnesota Department of Education, Department of Health and Department of Human Services and partners with local agencies and school districts.

Zero to Three is a great site whose mission is to promote the health and development of infants and toddlers. Parents will find articles, printable flyers, videos and links on the behavior and development, care and education, and public policy that directly impacts infants and toddlers, ages birth to 3.

A to Z Kids Stuff is a very practical page for parents of toddlers, preschoolers and school age children. There are scores of ideas for learning, craft and family fun activities. Many resources on this page are free, but there is also some content for pay. The American Academy of Pediatrics Bright Futures provides information to help protect and promote your child's health by increasing your knowledge of children's health issues, providing assistance on partnering with health care providers, and linking you to helpful organizations and tools. Healthy Children is sponsored by the American Academy of Pediatrics along with some corporate sponsors to provide developmental and other information for parents of young children. Parent Aware Minnesota offers free tools and resources to help families find the quality child care and early education programs their children need to succeed in school and life
