With the announcement that Superintendent Troy Ferguson will resign from his position effective June 30, 2019, the School Board of St. Francis Area Schools entered into a search for a new superintendent. Consultants from School Exec Connect have been contracted to assist with the search for a new superintendent. The next phase is the selection of candidates to be interviewed.

On December 3, the school board will approve the candidates for the first round of interviews. There is a special school board meeting starting at 6:00 p.m.

On December 4, the school board will conduct the first round of interviews. A special school board meeting is to start at noon. At the end of the day, finalists (2 or 3) will be selected.

Interviews will be held December 11-13 (If only two finalists, December 11-12). A special board meeting will start each day at 5:00 p.m. with parents and community members interviewing a finalist. The school board will interview a finalist each day at 7:30 p.m.

After the last interview the school board will make a selection.
