Dear Junior Parents and Students,
Junior students are eligible to take the ACT exam on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at St. Francis High School (SFHS). The ACT is a determining factor in the admission process for most colleges in Minnesota and the United States. We encourage students to take the test on the April date. Students will take the test during the school day.
Juniors that are interested in taking the ACT in April must sign up in advance by Monday, January 28, 2019 on the ACT Registration Form . The exam fee will be provided at a discounted rate of $29.00. Payment can be made online by using the payment link on the sign-up sheet and there is $2.00 processing fee for this option. If you prefer, a check for $29.00 can be dropped off in the SFHS Counseling Office by Monday, January 28, 2019. Those students that qualify for free or reduced lunch and would like a fee waiver should complete the Waiver of Confidentiality Form. Please note: a waiver of confidentiality will need to be on file at the Nutrition Office (x7015), by Wednesday, January 23 in order to process those requests.
When students sign up for the test, they will receive free test prep information emailed to them in order for them to better prepare for the test. We strongly encourage students to utilize this test prep tool to increase their ability to perform at a high level on the ACT.
If you have any questions regarding registration for the ACT please contact Kara Merrifield at 763-213-1713 or firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have any questions regarding ACT test prep please contact Dawn Abraham at 763-213-1580 or email@example.com.
