Two-hour delay for Friday, February 8
Posted 02/07/2019 09:45PM

This is an important message from Superintendent Troy Ferguson, St. Francis Area Schools.

The National Weather Service has issued a windchill advisory for our area, which is in effect Friday morning. Because of that and our current road conditions, I am announcing a two-hour delay for the start of all St. Francis Area Schools for Friday, February 8.

Morning Early Childhood Programs are canceled and Kids Connection is delayed to open by two hours.

Our priority is to ensure the safety of our students and staff while maintaining the integrity of the school day. Ultimately the decision to send your child to school is yours as a parent. If we hold school and you are uncomfortable sending your child to school due to weather conditions, please verify your child's absence and we will count the absence as excused.
