Early Childhood Screening
Posted 03/12/2019 12:19PM

Was your child born in 2015 or beginning Kindergarten in the fall?

If so, then it's time to make an Early Childhood Screening appointment if your child hasn't yet participated. Call 763-753-7187, or email Lisa Boettcher at lisa.boettcher@isd15.org, to make an appointment. Openings still remain in the March and April screenings.

Screening is a brief check of your child's health and development to be sure they are on target. If your child was screened in another district, or if you conscientiously object/want to opt out of screening, call this same number so we can complete the process.

Let your friends and family with preschoolers know about this too. Minnesota requires that all children participate in screening before beginning kindergarten...most preferably shortly after they turn three years of age.
